Sound FX: NFC Championship – Greg Jennings Mic’d Up
NFL Films has done a fantastic job documenting each playoff game in their weekly Sound FX series, and the NFC Championship edition doesn’t disappoint. The video features Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings mic’d up as he carries the team on his back on the opening drive and leans heavily on his defense at the end.
Jennings sums up the Packers’ playoff run as well as the NFC Championship game as he’s watches Bears’ third-string quarterback Caleb Hanie drive his team down the field for the tying score.
“It’s gotta be dramatic,” Jennings tells his teammates.
Little did he know that rookie sensation Sam Shields would end the Bears’ scoring threat a few plays later with an interception to punch his team’s ticket to Super Bowl XLV.
